Dear Her Majesty’s Courts and the Tribunals Service,
There are plans for a pilot scheme for Flexible Operating Hours in courts across England and Wales.
The courts affected are:
* Newcastle Crown Court
* Blackfriars Crown Court
* Sheffield Magistrates' Court
* Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court
* Manchester Civil Justice Centre
* Brentford County Court
As of today, how many judges, full-time and part-time, work in each of these courts?
As of today, how many judges, full-time and part-time, have committed to taking part in the pilot in each of these courts? (to clarify, this mean they have committed to sitting during the extended hours)
What further discussions or events will be held with the judiciary to specifically discuss the pilot between now and February?
Dear John Hyde,
Please find attached the response to your FOI request.
