Judges and cafcass malpractice referrals
Dear Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service,
Would you please inform me of the number of occasions that a Judge sitting in Public or Private Law Family Proceedings has referred malpractice by a Cafcass FCA / Social Worker involved in proceedings to your organisation?
Yours faithfully,
H. Grants

So how on earth can this 'alleged' Independent Court Advisory Service possibly know how efficient, effective and trustworthy it is if it fails to collate on a national basis expressed Court concerns? It is, of course, not surprising as CAFCASS continues to cut back its work - many years now since it got rid of all of its Family Support Workers. CAFCASS seems to be as secret as the Family Courts it services. It is a great shame that its Chairperson, an appointed member of the House of Lords, sees fit to occupy that position and defend CAFCASS when she knows that there are serious failings.
