Jobcentre staff ethnicity in England

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department for Work and Pensions should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Andrew Williams

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I would like to request all information you have on the ethnicity of staff in individual Jobcentres in England. Or, preferably the ethnicity of Jobcentre staff in each local authority area. Data at this local level should be recorded in Equality and Diversity monitoring records.

I would like to know the proportion of BAME members of Jobcentre staff in each local authority. An excel file containing broad ethnic group classifications of Jobcentre staff members (White, Black or Black British, Asian or Asian British, Mixed, Chinese or Other Ethnic group) constituted by local authority or by Jobcentre.

Yours faithfully,

Dr Andrew Williams
