Dear Lee Jefferson,

I am writing in response to your request for information, received 23rd
May.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Jobcentre deaths 2017, 2018 WALES'.

We asked you to provide, from electronic material, letters and memos, the number of people have died in a jobcentre during the years 2017 and 2018 in Wales, excluding staff and contractors. Your response stated you held the information but refused to give it claiming it's in the public domain. However the link you clearly stated as containing the required information does not contain it. Interestingly however you neglect to mention that you've failed to respond to the query put to you on that particular request and the clock is ticking before it is sent to the Information Commissioner.

Kindly provide the information we asked for and stop providing links unless they actually contain the information we seek.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/j...

Yours faithfully,

Lee Jefferson

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

In response to 'IR2020 31228 Final'.

Please note this request was handed to the Information Commissioner some time ago {IC-51506-M4K3} when you failed to supply a valid response in the required time. As you've STILL failed to supply 'Jobcentre deaths 2017, 2018 - WALES' the ICO will deal with the matter in due course.

You had PREVIOUSLY SUPPLIED the exact same figures for other UK regions so it's pointless trying to claim you don't hold any of it in that format. Let's show the public.

Jobcentres deaths 2017, 2018 - EAST LONDON, WEST LONDON
On 22nd January 2020 you PROVIDED THESE figures as requested (FOI2019/44384)
[Public source: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/6... ]

Jobcentres deaths 2017, 2018 - SURREY, SUSSEX, KENT

Jobcentres deaths 2017, 2018 - THAMES VALLEY, HAMPSHIRE, ISLE OF WIGHT
On 24th February 2020 you PROVIDED THESE figures as requested. (FOI2020/05492)
[Public source: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/6...

Jobcentres deaths 2017, 2018 - SCOTLAND
On 24th March 2020 you PROVIDED THESE figures as requested. (FOI2020/08261)

Jobcentres deaths 2017, 2018 - HALTON, CUMBRIA, LANCASHIRE

We await the same for WALES.

Yours faithfully,

Lee Jefferson
