Job seekers allowance clainents help with interview travel expenses

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
1. I would like the rules and regulations covering people claiming job seekers allowance who need to travel to an interview.

2. What resources if any are available.

3. Are these discretionery to an individual manager at a job centre.

4.Is a claimant entitled to help in travel to an interview regardless of where they live.

5.Are there special areas designated for help due perhaps to high unemployment or distance.

Yours faithfully,
Chris Franklin

2nd set of bullet points on page 13 says
• Each FSF case must be considered on its individual merits
i guess this means previous claims shouldnt be taken into account when making descisions on a new claim
