Thank you for your response, does Southend Emergency Department fall into
Care Group 3 - Division 8 – Acute and Local Services, and is this the same
for Basildon Emergency Department and Broomfield Emergency Department?

Our response:

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust has three main acute hospital
sites, and each hospital site has an emergency department. 

Southend Emergency Department did fall under Care Group 3 - Division 8 –
Acute and Local Services.  Basildon hospital Emergency Department would
have been under care group 1 and Broomfield hospital Emergency
Department would have been under care group 2. However, we have recently
implemented, and are now working to new operating model, and we no longer
have "care groups".  The job descriptions provided would reflect what was
in place at the time.
