JCG Papers and Minutes
Dear Sunderland City Council,
Could you please provide me with minutes of all Substance Misuse Joint Commissioning Group meetings for each area from 1st April 2011 to 1st February 2013. Please include any supporting papers tabled for those meetings. If you would find it easier to post these documents to your website rather than provide them in an email a link to the web address they can be found would suffice.
Many Thanks
S G Jones

Response
Unfortunately, Sunderland City Council do not hold any records for the
Substance Misuse Joint Commissioning Group as these meetings are held by
the Primary Care Trust. I have included contact details for the PCT

Dear HHAS Relationship,
I do not believe this to be correct. The Joint Commissioning Group is a jointly accountable body comprising membership of all those whose funds were pooled centrally to form the Pooled Treatment Budget. Sunderland City Council is represented on the Joint Commissioning GRoup and is jointly responsible for its management. I therefore request an internal review of this decision.
Yours sincerely,
sara

Dear Sara,
Following your email dated 02.04.2013.
We can advise that on receipt of your original request, 20.02.2013, the
Joint Commissioning Group was administered by the Primary Care Trust and
all records were held by them. However, as from 01.04.2013, Public Health
transferred to Sunderland City Council and as a result we now have access
to these records.
We can advise we are now in a position to collate this information
and will forward this to you at our earliest convenience.
May we take this opportunity to apologise for any confusion this matter
may have caused.
Kind regards
