You asked for:

1) A list of items confiscated from members of the public visiting the
Houses of Commons between January 1 2008 and December 31 2008.

The information requested, which refers to visitors to the Parliamentary
Estate, is contained in the attached document. Please note that in the
majority of cases the items in question were confiscated from visitors
from overseas who appear to have been unaware that the carriage of
knives, sprays etc is illegal in this country.

2)A description of the group or party that the confiscated item belonged
to.

The House of Commons does not hold this information.

You may, if dissatisfied with the treatment of your request, ask the
House of Commons to conduct an internal review of this decision.

nature of your complaint and any arguments or points that you wish to
make.
