John Wicker made this Freedom of Information request to Hailsham Town Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Hailsham Town Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information requests.

I would like to request the following breakdown of the Council's hardware maintenance and costs:

A list of the models of the physical servers, storage devices, tape libraries, network switches and routers under support contracts; as well as the cost and duration of said contracts, with start and end dates and service level associated with the equipment. Could you also supply the names of the suppliers of aforementioned support services?

I would also request the name of the person/s in your organisation responsible for the maintenance support contracts.

Yours faithfully,

John Wicker

John Harrison, Hailsham Town Council

Dear Mr Whicker,

In response to your Freedom of Information Request dated 26/01/2012
regarding Hailsham Town Council’s IT Support Services:

Our IT Systems are not presently under a support contract. We own all of
our servers. Our repairs and maintenance are undertaken by the East Sussex
based company Uniserve on an as-needed basis.

For our telephone system, there are two routers under a contract with the
company Digiquip:

The service contract cost for all of the telephone system is £65.55 per
calendar month, which includes these two routers. There is no breakdown to
these costs. The contract for the NEXER started in June 2006 and will end
in May 2013. The contract for the NEATGEAR started in January 2008 and
will end in

January 2013.

As Town Clerk I am responsible for maintenance support contracts, although
any major changes to our current arrangements would require agreement from
the Town Council.

I hope this provides all the information you require for this request.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel that any areas of this
response are insufficient.

Yours faithfully,

John Harrison
