Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information requests.

I would like to request the following breakdown of the ALMO's hardware maintenance and costs:

A list of the models of the physical servers, storage devices, tape libraries, network switches and routers under support contracts; as well as the cost and duration of said contracts, with start and end dates and service level associated with the equipment. Could you also supply the names of the suppliers of aforementioned support services?

HomesComms, Sheffield Homes Limited

Dear Mr Wicker

Thank you for your recent FOI request asking for breakdown of the ALMO's,
Sheffield Homes, hardware maintenance and costs.

All Sheffield Homes IT hardware and costs are supplied through Sheffield
City Council via the ICT contract it has with Capita, a international ICT
service provider.

Sheffield Homes does not have any detailed records of the specific
hardware used to supply the service, this is detailed in the contract
Sheffield Council has with Capita.

Sheffield Homes being part of this contract means that Sheffield Homes can
benefit from the economies of scale the Council gives and also does not
need to employ staff to manage the ICT or have in place its own separate
hardware or networks, giving best VFM.

Your request has therefore been passed onto the relevant Sheffield Council
Team, who will reply to you directly

Yours sincerely

Sheffield Homes
