1.Does the organisation use Oracle E-Business Suite(EBS)or any
oracle
ERP software? How many users are using EBS?

2. Which version of Oracle EBS are you currently using (eg 11.5.10,
11i, R12.1.3, R12.2 ETC )?

3. When was your last upgrade completed?

4. When are you planning your next upgrade/patching project and to
what version will you be upgrading?

5. Do you currently outsource your Oracle EBS upgrade / patching
projects/services and to which supplier (Oracle Partner)?

6. What is the value of the contract and when does the contract
expire?

7. Who is the person responsible for the Oracle EBS system - please
provide full name, title and contact information (if possible)

8. What are you running on the EBS? (eg Finance? HR? Payroll? ETC)

9. If you are not use the Oracle E-Business Suite please could you advise what software you are using? (eg SAP, Agresso, JD Edwards, Microsoft…ETC)

I write in connection with your request for information dated and received
on 19th August  2015.
 
Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act).  You will receive a response within the
statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act, subject to
the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third
party.  In some circumstances West Mercia Police may be unable to achieve
this deadline.  If this is likely you will be informed and given a revised

behalf of Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police force Alliance:
1.Does the organisation use Oracle E-Business Suite(EBS)or any oracle ERP
software? How many users are using EBS?
 
REPLY: Yes.~6000 users have access to Origin.
 
2. Which version of Oracle EBS are you currently using (eg 11.5.10, 11i,
R12.1.3, R12.2 ETC )?
 
REPLY: Version 11.5.10
 
3. When was your last upgrade completed?
 
REPLY: Upgrade to R12.1.3 is currently in progress.
 
4. When are you planning your next upgrade/patching project and to what
version will you be upgrading?
 
REPLY: No specific recorded information held.
There are no plans for the next upgrade. This will be driven by Capita
supplies of our HR system.
 
5. Do you currently outsource your Oracle EBS upgrade/ patching
projects/services and to which supplier (Oracle Partner)?
 
REPLY: These tend to be done by our application supplier.

REPLY: Oracle EBS is part of the Capita Origin HR system, and as such
there is no specific contract in place just for Oracle EBS upgrades.  Call
off services are available under the support and maintenance contract.
 
7. Who is the person responsible for the Oracle EBS system - please
provide full name, title and contact information (if possible)
 
REPLY: ICT Infrastructure manager.

REPLY: The Alliance uses Capita Origin Resource Management system which
runs on Oracle EBS

REPLY: Not applicable
 
10. Which Tender portal does your organisation use?
 
REPLY: BLPD (Blue Light Procurement Database)
 
11. When is the Oracle support and Maintenance licence due for renewal and
what was the value of the last invoice?
 
REPLY: The Capita software support and maintenance contract for the Origin
system is renewed in March. The value is not applicable as is not specific
to Oracle EBS.
