useful to [1]check the Museum’s website for more information. For
Membership related enquiries, please contact the Membership team by
emailing [email address]

Please note the following:

Booking tickets for special exhibitions
Due to the popularity of our special exhibitions and the limited
availability of tickets for the same day, you are strongly recommended
to book your tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment.

August 2017, closed 3–6 July) please follow this [3]link.

To book tickets for [4]the BP exhibition Scythians: warriors of ancient
Siberia (14 September 2017 – 14 January 2018) please follow this
[5]link.
If you want to purchase an exhibition ticket on the day, arrive as early
as you can as these are very limited, or [6]become a Member to access
sold out slots. The Ticket Desk opens at 09.00.

Object valuation, identification and acquisition
The Museum does not provide valuations and does not generally acquire
objects from private individuals. For more information, see the Museum’s
[7]Acquisition Policy

If you are seeking advice on valuations or on selling an object, you
should consult a local specialist dealer or auction house – we will not
respond to these types of queries.

Applications for jobs, internships and work experience
The Museum does not accept speculative applications for jobs and
internships – we are unable to respond to these types of communication.
If you are interested in applying for a position at the British Museum,
please check job listings [8]here and submit your application via the
online recruitment system. If you are interested in volunteering, you
can find current opportunities [9]here. There is no formal scheme for
work experience at the Museum, but you can [10]contact individual
