Dear Jake McMahon,

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information (FOI) request in which you asked for a copy of any IT incident response plans created, relating to IT incidents/outages/faults experienced in the past 5 years.

We consider that the disclosure of any such plans to be exempt under section 31 of the FOI Act. Section 31 exempts information if its disclosure would or would likely prejudice the prevention of crime. We consider that disclosure of any such reports would undermine the security of our IT systems and weaken them to malicious and criminal attacks.

I hope this information satisfies your Freedom of Information request. However, if you are dissatisfied with this response, you may ask for it to be reviewed by either contacting us by email: [Goldsmiths, University of London request email] or by writing to:

Room G10, DTH Building
Goldsmiths, University of London
