The Trust is currently experiencing pressures due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the focus is supporting continued patient care and contact. Due to this we are noticing a delay in gathering a response for information requests, we will ensure that you will receive a response to your request but this is unprecedented times and we need to prioritise our workloads to ensure our frontline patient services are able to continue.

We will advise you if we are unable to provide the information requested and will confirm the exemption used.

In addition to this, please note that there may be a cost associated to your request in line with section 12 of the Act. If there is a cost associated with your request we will contact you and explain the cost.

I would like to apologise for addressing you as Ashley in my previous email, I hope that you will forgive me.

Thank you for your recent freedom of information request. The Trust has reviewed your request and has asked for me to clarify that the request is for the Trust as Question 4 mentions ‘university’ and we wanted to make sure the request did not come to us in error? We have also identified that you are asking a total of 51 questions and have asked if there is a possibility of simplifying your request as our Trust’s services are currently experiencing pressures due to the impact of the current pandemic this is leading to noted delays in responding to requests for information which do not have a direct impact on continuing patient care or service continuity.

The impact of the pandemic has led to corporate services staff focusing on supporting front line clinical services with this in mind the staff are not able to prioritise FOI requests at present. Whilst they are aware of your request and will strive to provide the information as quickly as possible patient care and safety is their main priority.

I will not be able to take this matter further without extra information from you.

The 20 day time period, in which to respond to your request, has been suspended until the additional information is received. If you wish to discuss any of the above, please contact me. Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.
