Dear Mr Shaw,

Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in further replying to
you to conclude our handling of your request for information under the
FOIA.

To confirm, there is an ongoing process of migration of the Rochford
District Council infrastructure to a cloud based environment.  This is due
to complete in the near future.  The contract for delivery of the
environment is not therefore assessed by physical assets, storage
capacity, vendor refresh dates and warranties - it is based around and
measured upon cloud based metrics; availability, utilisation response
times.

The information requested, therefore, is not relevant in a cloud based
environment nor is it readily ascertainable.  Cloud based environments do
not operate this way.  Accordingly, we are not able to identify with our
third party vendor the outstanding information requested (as unanswered
from 25 May) and no further details are available to share with you.

Notwithstanding, information around the contractual position regarding the
letting of Rochford District Council contracts for infrastructure would in
any event contain confidential proprietary information.

I trust that you find the above information useful, but if you are unhappy
with the way in which your request for information has been dealt with,
you can request a review by writing to the Assistant Director of Legal
Services, Rochford District Council, South Street, Rochford SS4 1BW or
alternatively by email to [1][Rochford District Council request email].

If you remain dissatisfied with the handling of your request or complaint,
then you have the right to appeal to the Information Commissioner at The
Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow,
Cheshire SK9 5AF [2]www.ico.org.uk.

There is no charge for making an appeal.

Thanks and Regards

Julie
