IT contract awarded to Northgate under the Building Schools for the Future scheme

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council,

From the Lancashire Evening Telegraph:
""Northgate was given a contract worth £41.3 million to put IT equipment in nine Blackburn schools and 15 Bolton schools that were to be revamped under the Building Schools for the Future scheme,""

The figure of £41.3 million seems very high for an IT contract in 24 schools.

Please can you provide a complete breakdown of what this money was spent on.

Yours faithfully,

John Buck
