Has a contract been directly awarded to Age UK Mid Mersey for the period 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2021 for the sum of £521,775 for the provision of services at present provided by HBC staff at Halton Direct Link and through paid staff at HBC.
Your Quality Assurance Team will, if this contract is in place, continue to monitor this service and ensure the Council and Halton residents receive value for money. What will be the cost of this monitoring team to Halton residents.
What will the Quality Assurance Team monitor against. Please supply a copy of any SLA or equivalent monitoring process that could be used.
Has this contract, if in place, been won by a fair and competitive procedure. Were other charities given the opportunity to tender for this contract.
Has a register with full details of the 47,000 plus older people of Halton, been provided by HBC to AGE UK Mid Mersey for inclusion in their Charitylog database or equivalent.
