Dear FOI N&C,

Thank you for this response, copied below:

"Q1: Has the Corelogic social care system gone live? If only partially live, please be
explicit about which elements are not yet live. Please pay particular attention to
finance functionality

A: No the Coreloogic system has not gone live.

Q2: How much money has been spent, to date, on external consultancy and other
services to support this delayed implementation?

A: The spend to 30/03/2017 on those with specialist skil s covering project
management, data migration, finance, IT, testing and training to support the
implementation was £396k. The figure is not exact as some final invoices for
commissioned work have not been processed. Other services to support the
implementation have been in-house.

Q3: When was the contract signed with Servelec Corelogic?

A: The contract was signed with Servelec on 01 January 2015."

Best of luck with the project. Two years and counting doesn't seem great. I can't help think that the £400k bill for external consultancy might have been lower if this wasn't taking so long. Indeed, a bill of that magnitude, at a time of significant reductions in funding to local government, is something of a concern.

Yours sincerely,

David Hanson

Sorry for the confusion - there's currently a bug in our system which means that the followup email got sent to the council twice with slight variations of their email address. One copy arrived safely, the other got bounced back by their servers. I've hidden the duplicate automated messages to make the thread easier to follow.

After 2.5 years this wasn't live, and the council had spent £400k with contractors at that point. What a mess.
