is Bank of England a Private Bank (i.e. a Private Company) and a Private Corporation (Company)

The request was partially successful.

George Tsigarides

Dear Bank of England,

I will be grateful if you would confirm the following:

1. Is Bank of England (BoE) a Private Bank (i.e. a Private Company) and a Corporation (i.e. a Private Company).

2. If yes, what is the BoE Registration Number.

3. If yes, what is the BoE Registered Address.

4. If yes, who are the major shareholders of BoE.

5. If yes, does BoE come under the jurisdiction of Statute Lawn and not Common Law.

6. If yes, is it true that BoE has no jurisdiction over Men and Women under Common Law.

7. If yes, why does BoE act as if it has jurisdiction over Men and Women under Common Law.

8. If yes, does BoE only have jurisdiction over consenting citizens under Statute Law (or the international Admiralty Maritime Law of the Sea).

9. Why does BoE print the United Kingdom Pound Sterling Currency and charge interest to the United Kingdom government to do so.

10. Why does the United Kingdom government not print its own United Kingdom Pound Sterling Currency that would not require it to pay interest to BoE.

Thank You.

Kind Regards.

Yours faithfully,

George Tsigarides

George Tsigarides

Dear Enquiries,

Thank you for your response.

It was helpful in part; which I am grateful for.

I have been advised that the BoE is actually a private bank and is nothing whatsoever to do with the UK government - as it prints money and lends it to the government with interest applied for the payments back.

You have stated that this is not so; even though the BoE has a Registration number (i.e. as per all private companies).

You have asked me to clarify exactly what else I need; so I will rephrase my FOIA enquiries, as per below.

I would be grateful if you would confirm:

A. What do the BoE records show that a 'Royal Charter Company' actually is.

B. What do the BoE records show regarding the jurisdiction of the BoE, in terms of Statute Law and Common Law. Is the BoE under the jurisdiction of both Common Law and Statute Law.

C. What do the BoE records show about the printing of the United Kingdom Pound Sterling Currency. Does the BoE print the UK Sterling Currency on behalf of the UN government, and does the UK government pay interest to the BoE, or any other banking institution.

Thank You.

Kind Regards.

Yours sincerely,

George Tsigarides
