Dear Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner,
I would like to draw your attention to the news article regarding the Iraqi trade minister, May 2006 to May 2009. Mr Sudani was at first exonerated from charges of corruption, he then fled Iraq. But The Integrity Committee demanded a re trial, he was sentenced in absentia on the 24th June 2012 to seven years in prison.

The article on the link quotes him as saying 'they cannot touch me I am British'

Is Mr Sudany in the UK? Are there any arrangements/intentions in place for him to be extradited back to Iraq in order to face justice?

Yours faithfully,
