IPCC Review Editors' Reports

The request was successful.

Dear University of Reading,

Your Drs Theodore Shepherd and Keith Shine are listed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as having served as ‘Review Editors’ of the Working Group One (WGI) contribution to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (AR5).

Under the published internationally agreed ‘Principles Governing IPCC Work’ and their ‘Appendix A’, the IPCC assessment process is required to be open and transparent. Also, Review Editors ‘must submit a written report to the Working Group Sessions or the Panel’ of governments.

I request the following information:
[1] A copy of any and all AR5 WGI Review Editors’ Reports held by the University.

Only in the event that no Reports are held or disclosure is refused for any reason, I request any information relating to the Reports including, but not limited to:
[2] Any instructions relating to the preparation and submission of the Reports.
[3] Any instructions relating to the retention, disclosure or deletion of electronic copies of the Reports.
[4] Information on which UK government departments have received copies of the Reports.
[5] Any information held indicating that the Reports will be published elsewhere at some date after your response.

Yours faithfully,

David Holland
