Dear Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport,

How much has the UK Government invested in rolling out super fast broadband in each region and country of the UK, each year covering the period 2009-2019?

For clarification, as responsibility for broadband is reserved to Westminster, this request covers only funds invested directly by the UK government. This does not include expenditure by devolved administrations, unless additional funds have been given to those administrations specifically earmarked for broadband.

I would appreciate the reply detailing each region and country of the UK (regions of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), along with an aggregate for each year.
