Investigative reports and surveyors reports relating to Redcar Steel Works

Dear South Tees Development Corporation,

In todays Evening Gazette, The Mayor refering to the former Redcar Steel works said that the strucutres were “degrading and increasingly dangerous” and that it they were "becoming a major safety and environmental risk is claimed to be costing £16m a year".

Could you please provide the follow:

a. All structural, geotechnical, environmental, site investigation, inspection and safety surveys and assessments commissioned relating to the structures that might justify the comment that they are becoming dangerous.

b.Could you please provide all financial costing or surveyors reports in relation to the above inspections of former steel works that would substanciate where the £16m figure quoted has been reached.
