You have requested the following information under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000:

 

Investigations into breaches of the representation of the people's act in
Calder Valley.

 

Can you supply me with the number of complaints received and being
investigated by West Yorkshire Police in connection with altering images
on social media in the Calder Valley constituency. In other words social
media posts which include images that have been altered and contain
political statements.

 

Your request will now be considered and you will receive a response within
the statutory timescale as defined by the Act, subject to the information
not being exempt. In some circumstances West Yorkshire Police may be
unable to achieve this deadline. If this is likely you will be informed at
the earliest opportunity. If you no longer require the information, please
inform us at your earliest convenience.

The Time frame is from the beginning of May until the 9thJune

I am referring to images placed on social media that have altered or photoshopped that have political connotations that could possibly affect the outcome of an election. I hope that explains it?
