FOIA, Health Education East of England

Dear Mr George Choa,

RE: Freedom of Information Request

We refer to your email of 15^th February 2020 which we received on 17^th
February 2020 requesting information relating to interview scores and
offers for AFP candidates for 2020 cohort within the East of England
Educational academic AUoA, held by Health Education England (HEE).

Response

HEE can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do hold part of the information that you have
requested but will be exempt under Section 40 of the FOIA.

Section 40 (2) is applied because the persons concerned are likely to be
identified by the disclosure of the information as this contains low
numbers (less than 5). The identity of the individual and the personal
data could be deduced from a data set by an informed observer, meaning
that the public could identify the individuals in question by cross
referencing the data with information or knowledge already available
within the public domain. We therefore feel that disclosing it would be
likely to provide information that could be attributed to a specific
individual, constituting a disclosure of their personal data.

Individuals, trainees and members of staff can expect HEE to secure their
personal information and only process their personal information in line
with the principles contained within the DPA. Such a disclosure would be a
breach of Principle One of the Data Protection Act therefore, we
consider part of this/this request exempt under Section 40 (2) and where
applicable, this will be shown as <5 within the response.
