Dear Jonathan Long,

We refer to your email of 11/01/2021 requesting information relating to
applications for academic jobs within the East of England Educational
academic AUoA, held by Health Education England (HEE).

HEE can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do hold the information that you have requested.

Please see the responses below for the requested information held by HEE.
These provide information from the Cambridge and Norwich Academic
Foundation Programme interviews. Please note that whilst Essex,
Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Foundation School would normally fall
within the academic programme, they did not hold interviews this year and
therefore we are unable to provide data for their organisation.

I should also advise you that the total number of applicants successful at
interview is not the same as the total number offered a post. For clarity,
we have therefore split this data by those candidates considered
appointable and those offered a post.

I will address each of your questions in turn:

Q1) Proportion of candidates (relative to the total number interviewed) in
the morning interviews (start time until 12pm) being initially offered an
academic job, including the total number of candidates in this session.
