Dear Mr Harris
Sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your request. We can
advise that this is due to staff absences.
The information held by the University’s International Office at the time
of your request is provided below.
1. Number of International Students recruited through agents in
academic years 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15 with breakdown of student’s
country of origin.
*The MMU International Office does not record/monitor this data by country
of origin. We could supply country of origin for international students
generally (regardless of how they were recruited). Or it may be possible
to conduct a matching exercise using data from another department to
determine country of origin for only those international students who were
recruited via an agent, however, we will need to examine the data provided
below in more detail to determine if this is possible and, due to staff
absence, we are unable to do this until after the Easter break. If you
would still like us to look into this, please let us know.
2011/2012 367
2012/2013 328
2013/2014 337
