Internal Process Reports (IPRs) on Deaths Of Benefit Claimants
Dear Department for Work and Pensions & Therese Coffey
Being a carer and campaigner for carers and disabled people I would like to read the "Internal Process Reports (IPRs) on Deaths Of Benefit Claimants" review and results.
Could you please provide me (via PDF and email) the said Internal Process Report?
I think this is a vital piece of information that should be available to disabled people and their carers and should not be hidden away from anyone.
Yours faithfully,
Clive Arnold

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Internal Process Reports (IPRs) on Deaths Of Benefit Claimants'.
[ GIVE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINT HERE ]
Dear sir/madam,
re "We confirm that we do not hold the information requested.
There is no specific report on a review and results of Internal Process Reviews (IPRs).
If you have any queries about this letter, please contact us quoting the reference number
above."
It has widely been reported that Thérèse Coffey has refused to release these documents so to say there has been no reviews is clearly false.
I request to see these reports as they pertain to the people I campaign for so are of real interest to me, disabled people, their carers, and the public.
The reviews exist, I wish to see them

IC-176360-M3C8
This DN relates to 90 DPRs.
https://ico.org.uk/media/action-weve-tak...
The complainant's complaint was not upheld by the Commissioner (s14 exemption engaged). A request for a smaller number of DPRs might have a different outcome.
'1. The complainant has requested all Internal Process Reviews (IPRs) conducted by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) between 1 September 2020 and 28 April 2022.
40. This results in a total estimate of 181.13 hours to comply with the request. DWP confirmed that a working day is 7.4 hours and therefore complying with the request would take a total of 24.47 working days.'
51. The Commissioner has previously considered the application of section 35(1)(a) and the associated public interest test in IC-102213-F4W6. In this decision, the Commissioner found that section 35(1)(a) was engaged for some of the recommendations but that the public interest favoured disclosure. DWP has appealed this decision. '
