Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

Can you please provide me with the following information.

Have you treated any of your housing stock with external wall
insulation?

Which streets or estates have you completed the insulation
programme on and what has been the cost to date?

Have you got any future over-render/insulating projects planned and
what budget have you allocated for this?

Yours faithfully,

Andy May

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

Dear Mr. May

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REF: 2014-659

I am responding to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000,
which we received on 15 May 2014, for information held by the Council. You
requested:

Have you treated any of your housing stock with external wall insulation?

Which streets or estates have you completed the insulation programme on
and what has been the cost to date?

Have you got any future over-render/insulating projects planned and what
budget have you allocated for this?

The Tenant Management Organisation (TMO – who manage the council’s housing
stock) has not as yet carried out any external insulation programmes.

The TMO will start one project at Grenfell Tower to overclad the exterior
of the tower block. This is part of a larger project to refurbish the
building and this larger project has a budget of around £10m.
