Information Access, Care Quality Commission

Dear Jayne

Firstly we can advise that CQC does not have a legal remit for any care delivered in Wales. Therefore for any services in Wales you would need to contact the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales or the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales.

CQC do not have a service of the description given registered with us. A service in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland may be required to register with CQC, where they deliver care in England and where they are providing services within the scope of registration - http://www.cqc.org.uk/sites/default/file...

Therefore CQC does not hold the information you have requested.

Finally, whilst we have responded to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, technically your request is not valid as you have only provided a first name and last initial. The Act requires applicants to provide their full name, and as such any complaint about a request to the ICO could be refused on those grounds. It is therefore advisable to always include your full name.

We hope this response is helpful, but if you believe there is other information that can be provided by CQC about health and social care regulation, please let us know.

Thanks
