Insolvency Service Official Receivers accepting a fee where no bankruptcy petition has been filed at the Land Registry
On how many occasions since April 2014 has the Insolvency Service accepted a Official Receivers deposit fee where no petition has been registered at the land registry, that the Insolvency Service own rules state must contain a receipt for the official receivers deposit(fees) and this MUST be attached to the bankruptcy petition when it is filed with the court.
Please list dates and figures for both Creditor's Bankruptcy Petition and Debtor's Petitions.

The information you have requested is exempt information under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and your request as it stands is therefore refused.
The appropriate limit has been specified in regulations and for Central Government it is set at £600. This represents the estimated cost of one person spending 24 hours in determining whether the Service holds the information, and locating, retrieving and extracting the information.
Under section 12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act The Insolvency Service is not obliged to comply with your request and we will not be processing your request further.
If you are dissatisfied with the way in which The Insolvency Service has dealt with this request you have the right to ask for a review within two months of the date of this letter. The Insolvency Service has a duty to record this information if you are stating that it is beyond your costs, limit the request to 6 months April - October 2014.
Also clarify if a petition has not been registered with the Chief Registrar at the Land Registry what gives the Official Receiver the right to receive a deposit fee.

In the period April 2014 and October 2014 there were 10,338 bankruptcy orders dealt with by the Insolvency Service.
The information you have requested on how many occasions since April 2014 has the Insolvency Service accepted a Official Receivers deposit fee where no petition has been registered at the land registry is exempt information under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and your request as it stands is therefore refused.
