Initial staff communications on the ChelWest instance of the Federated Data Platform
Dear Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,
Under the Freedom of Information Act, covering the ChelWest instance of Palantir as part of NHS England's Federated Data Platform, can you please provide:
1) A list of all "purposes" currently in the ChelWest instance of Palantir, (purposes in this context being part of the "purpose based access control" model of Palantir Foundry)
2) Copies of internal communications, if any, that doctors, nurses, or midwives in the ChelWest maternity Department have received in 2024 from ChelWest about the roll out of Palantir (whether your own contract or NHS England's FDP) in ChelWest. These may be specific to the work of the maternity department, or Trust-wide communications to all staff.
Yours faithfully,
Sam Smith

Dear FOI (CHELSEA AND WESTMINSTER HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST),
Thank you for your response, which said
"This has everything we would have shared for this national programme. https://fdp.england.nhs.uk/home"
Given the odd wording, can I just check that your response is saying that ChelWest has done no communications to staff (as covered by the request) at all in 2024 about the roll out and transition of Palantir, other than the vague public information provided at the national level to patients which contains no information about the ChelWest instance of Palantir/FDP or staff specific data? If your staff had questions from their own expertise, if your staff received questions from patients, you had sent them no guidance on who to talk to? You didn't even send them anything telling them the URL telling where that public information could be found? There was no message or context for the URL that "has everything we would have shared for this national programme"?
If a clarification isn't immediately available, please pass this on to conduct an Internal Review of your response on the basis that the answer is not credible given the content of the answer itself as described above.
Yours sincerely,
Sam Smith
Dear Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,
I requested an internal review of the inadequate nature of the response to this request at the start of the summer. Now it's the end of the summer, can I chase how that review is going?
