inherited cardiac conditions Services for Northampton

The request was successful.

Dear NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board,

Further to the advise from
https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsuppor...
What if I don’t live in an area where specialist ICC services are available?
Ideally, you should be referred to a regional ICC service. These exist in all UK nations. This is particularly important where there is a family history of sudden death from an ICC. If you are at risk of an ICC, or have an ICC, you should at the very least be under the care of a cardiologist. It’s not enough to be under the care of just your GP

Please can you give me details of the inherited cardiac conditions Services for Northampton, the commissioning documents showing what service should be provided and details of the regional ICC service patients are referred to.

Yours faithfully,

Linda saunders

Good afternoon Linda Saunders

Thank you for your email.

To assist you promptly I can advise that neither Kettering or Northampton
General Hospital have a specialist team.  Both sites have consultants with
specialist interest in ICC and who have arrangements with other sites in
Oxford and Leicester.

I hope this provides you with the information sought.  Please clarify if
that is not the case and we can progress a request for any missing
information.

Dear NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board's handling of my FOI request 'inherited cardiac conditions Services for Northampton'.

The response was not for my request

I asked:
"Please can you give me details of the inherited cardiac conditions Services for Northampton,
the commissioning documents showing what service should be provided
and details of the regional ICC service patients are referred to."

You replied to a request about hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsuppor...
mentions all inherited cardiac conditions

The commissioning document requested should show the different pathways and NHS commissioned care in place for Northampton for the different ICCs e.g.
FH Familiar Hyperlipidemia and Familiar Hypercholorestromia
hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
etc..

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/i...

Yours faithfully,
