1. What is your annual IT Budget for 2020, 2021 & 2022?
2. Storage:
a. What storage vendor(s) and models do you currently use?
b. What is the capacity of the storage data in TB & How much of this is utilised?
c. What were the installation dates of the above storage vendor(s)? (Month/Year)
d. When is your planned (or estimated) storage refresh date? (Month/Year)?
e. Do you have any extended warranties, if so, with which supplier?
f. What is your estimated budget for the storage refresh?
3. Server/Compute:
a. What server vendor(s) and models do you currently use?
b. What were the installation dates of the above server vendor(s)? (Month/Year)
c. When is your planned (or estimated) server refresh date? (Month/Year)
d. What is your estimated budget for the server refresh?
e. Do you have any extended warranties, if so, with which supplier?
f. Which operating systems are used?
4. Security:
a. What security solutions are being utilised?
b. Do you have a SIEM?
c. Do you have a SOC? If so, is it in house or outsourced?
d. Is it 24/7?
e. Name and role for IT Manager(s) / Officer(s) primarily responsible for cybersecurity
f. Names of all cyber security vendor(s) you use
g. Cost, duration and end date for the above contract(s)/license(s)
5. Backup, DR and BC:
a. What device/system do you use for your daily backups (e.g tape or disk)
b. What backup software do you use?
c. How much data do you backup, in TB?
d. Do you use a third party to provide a Business Continuity service (e.g. office workplace recovery or infrastructure ship-to-site solutions)?
e. When is your estimated backup refresh?
f. Do you already backup into the cloud?
g. Do you back up M365?
6. Number of Physical servers?
7. How far are you in your cloud strategy?
A. Not considering Cloud for the foreseeable future

12. What is the total number of IT staff employed by the organization: Please list and provide contact details for the IT senior management team including CIO, IT Director and Infrastructure Architects if applicable.
13. Who is Head of IT? – Please provide contact details
14. Who is Head of Procurement? – Please provide contact details
15. Do you have a managed/shared service with any other councils?
16. Do you normally purchase equipment and services as a capital investment (Cap-Ex) or ongoing operational charges (Opex)?

I acknowledge your request for information received on 07 July 2022 about
Infrastructure Environment.
Your request is being considered and you will receive the information
requested as soon as possible, but in any case by 04 August 2022 the
statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOI) unless the information requested is subject to
a statutory exemption on disclosure or the information contains reference
to a third party.
If your request does not include all the information we need or is not

circumstances, the 20 working response deadline will start the next
working day after we receive your clarification response.
For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions, which may
prevent release of the information you have requested. Some exemptions are
subject to a public interest test. There will be an assessment and if any
of the exemption categories apply and any relevant public interest test is
weighed in favour of withholding the information it will not be released.
You will be informed if this is the case, including your rights of appeal.
If the information you request contains reference to a third party then
they may need to be consulted before a decision is taken on whether the
information can be released to you. You will be informed if this is the

There may be a fee payable for supplying the information in the form of
disbursements. This will be calculated and you will be informed if a fee
