Q1. What computer software are you using for Highways Maintenance Works Ordering and Inspections, how much are you paying per year, and when is the contract due to expire and what format will the procurement process take? Who within the council is responsible for this contract?

I acknowledge receipt of your email  of today’s date requesting
information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and I

If you are dissatisfied with the way that Inverclyde Council has responded

Inverclyde Council use an  in-house developed database.

 

Q2. What computer software are you using for Bridges/Structures, how much

format will the procurement process take? Who within the council is
responsible for this contract?

Archie-M by Obvis.  Initial cost £2,500.  Annual Maintenance fee £450. 
Single supplier and no expiry date.

 

Q3. What computer software are you using for Flood Risk, how much are you
paying per year, how many users are you licensed for and when is the
contract due to expire and what format will the procurement process take?
Who within the council is responsible for this contract?

Inverclyde Council does not use computer software for Flood Risk.

 

Q4. What computer software are you using for Drainage, how much are you
paying per year, and when is the contract due to expire and what format
will the procurement process take? Who within the council is responsible
for this contract?

Inverclyde Council does not use computer software for Drainage.

 

Q5. What computer software are you using for Street Lighting Management,
how much are you paying per year, and when is the contract due to expire
and what format will the procurement process take? Who within the council
is responsible for this contract?

Hilight which was developed by a user group which has now disbanded,
therefore no maintenance costs and no expiry.

 

Q6. What computer software are you using for Public Rights of Way, how
much are you paying per year, how many users are you licensed for, and
when is the contract due to expire and what format will the procurement
process take? Who within the council is responsible for this contract?

Inverclyde Council does not have computer software specifically for Rights
of Way.  We use our in house GIS for this.

 

Q7. What computer software are you using for Parks and Open Spaces, how
much are you paying per year, and when is the contract due to expire and
what format will the procurement process take? Who within the council is
responsible for this contract?

Inverclyde Council does not use computer software for Park and Open
Spaces.

 

Q8. What computer software are you using for Street Works, how much are
you paying per year, and when is the contract due to expire and what
format will the procurement process take? Who within the council is
responsible for this contract? 

Inverclyde Council use the Scottish Road Works Register by Symology.  This
is a Scottish wide system.  Our annual contribution is £3,628.  The tender
is by the Office of the Scottish Road Works Commissioner.
