Information Sharing from Consent to Public Task

We're waiting for Mr. D Mott to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Information Commissioner's Office,

Per FOIA, please supply me with information contained in your records relating to the meeting held on Tuesday 16th July 2019 with officials representing the ICO and Police Scotland regarding changes of the basis of sharing highly sensitive information (CO) and (SO) from Consent to Public Task.

Information on the ICO's own website (https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/gui...) states that “Document your decision to rely on this basis to help you demonstrate compliance if required. You should be able to specify the relevant task, function or power, and identify its statutory or common law basis.

Therefore, on this basis please advise the statutory or common law used to have this change from consent to public task as laid down in law?

I shall look forward to your response within the 20-working day timescale.

Yours faithfully,
