Information relating to Panshanger airfield following consultation, and the council's communications with connected parties.
Dear Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council,
I would like to request information on the following:
1) Between July 28th 2012 and July 28th 2014 what meetings, actual or phone conferences, occurred between officers at WHBC and the following parties in connection with Panshanger airfield and the land upon which it sits:
Mariposa Investments Limited.
Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners.
PPS (http://www.ppsgroup.co.uk/)
Hardhat (http://www.hardhat.co.uk/)
Mishcon de Reya. (http://www.mishcon.com/)
When did these take place and what was their purpose?
2) I would like to have copies of any notes or minutes deriving from the communique's that took place between WHBC and the parties listed in point one above.
3) WHBC carried out a public consultation on the draft Emerging Core Strategy between November 2012 and January 2013. For clarification it can be found online here:
http://consult.welhat.gov.uk/portal/plan...
I can find no detailed breakdown of the public responses to this consultation which gives me the information I seek. Therefore I would like to know:
a) How many respondents to this consultation objected to the site referenced WGC4 being designated a Broad Location for Growth?
b) How many respondents to this consultation were in favour of the site referenced WGC4 area being designated a Broad Location for Growth?
c) Of those in favour, what was the most common reason given for supporting the WGC4 site as Broad Location for Growth?
I look forward to answers to the above in line with the Freedom of Information Act as adopted.
Yours faithfully,
Will Davis.

Dear Mr Davis,
Thank you for your request for information received on 29^th July 2014.
Please see the attached information.
You should note that analysis of the representations has been carried out
but not in the specific format asked for in your request. The Council
hold this information in this format and to present this in a different
format to satisfy your request would involve a considerable amount of
additional work. This is because a number of people made several
representations to different parts of a document or to one of the
accompanying documents. The representations are all available on the
Council’s website [1]www.welhat.gov.uk
Notes of meetings are also attached. There have been no phone
conferences.
I hope this satisfies your request but if you have any queries or concerns
then please contact Ian Colyer, Freedom of Information Officer, Welwyn
Hatfield Council, Council Offices, The Campus, Welwyn Garden City, Herts.

Dear Ian Colyer,
Thanks for this information following on from the FOI request. The information provided answers most of the questions asked, although perhaps not all in the granularity sought, however it is enough to be useful, thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Will Davis
