Information related to design changes to Leith Walk from Leith Programme to Tram Extension, 2015-2018

The request was successful.

Dear City of Edinburgh Council,

I am seeking information the Council holds regarding the design of Leith Walk between 2015 and 2018. I am trying to track the process by which changes to the designs have been made over this period. Specifically the information requested should relate to changes made to the original Tram network designs (halted in 2011) which sought to incorporate subsequent designs from both the Leith Programme (2013-2016) and the St James Centre redevelopment (2014-2018). This process was alluded to in the report ‘Edinburgh Tram Extension - Next Steps’, presented to Council in November 2015.

To be clear I am only requesting information related to the design of Leith Walk, including footways, cycle lanes, carriageways and tram lines.

I would like to request any and all of the following information relating to the above:

- Minutes, notes, transcripts or summaries of meetings between council officers and the design team concerning the above changes.
- Correspondence, e-mails etc. between council officers and the design team concerning the above changes.

I do not require already publicly available Council reports or minutes of Council meetings which are otherwise available via the Council website.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Byrne
