Information regarding solidarity actions for Ukrainian refugees by Cardiff Council
Dear Cardiff Council,
I am writing to you to enquire as to what solidarity actions were (and indeed are) being undertaken by the council, funded by the council, or otherwise have (or are) supported by the council with regards to Ukrainian
displaced persons & those impacted by the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
Simultaneously and relatedly I would like to know what what solidarity actions were (and indeed are) being undertaken by the council, funded by the council, or otherwise have (or are) supported by the council with regards to Palestinian
displaced persons & those impacted by the invasion of Gaza by Israel.

Dear Cardiff Council,
"Solidarity actions" may here be understood to mean any and all actions which may have been undertaken by the council (or for the council by a third party) in order to extend solidarity to the parties mentioned. This might include releasing statements in support of, offering accommodation to refugees, organising of events, flying of flags, etc. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of examples but rather I trust that it will guide you in understanding the spirit of the intention of the request.
