Information regarding Prosthetic Service Staffing
Dear Lothian NHS Board FOI Team,
I would be most grateful if you could provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, the following information regarding the prosthetic service in your trust.
1) Could you please advise of the Number of staff and AfC Banding (or equivalence) x WTE of these staff (e.g. Physiotherapist - Band 5 x 0.8WTE):
i. Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine
ii. Clinical Nurse Specialists
iii. Healthcare Assistants
iv. Prosthetists
v. Prosthetic Technicians
vi. Occupational Therapists
vii. Physiotherapists
viii. Clinical and Administrative Support Staff
ix. Podiatrists
x. Orthotists
xi. Psychologists
xii. Counsellors
xiii. Rehabilitation Engineers
2) Please provide the approximate number of patients registered to the service.
3) What is the model of service operation – in-house/sub-contracted/fully managed?

Information (Scotland) Act 2002, which requires that we respond to you
