Dear All Souls College, Oxford,

I understand that your college owns a number of properties in our ward of Willesden Green in the London Borough of Brent.

We wish as a residents' association to ascertain the ownership of properties in the area in order to make an assessment of properties where there are problems and where we can as an association seek solutions in terms of regenerating and greening our area.

We wish to know:

1. Which properties by street/road/number you own, type of property; residential, retail, etc or
both:
a. As leasehold and the length by date of the lease starting and years remaining.
b. Freeholds and the length of lease as per 2019 - eg how many years remaining.
c. Freeholds for which there is a ground rent of less than £1000 per year and when the
leaseholds may be up for renewal.

If you require any further information, please contact me. You can ascertain the ward of Willesden Green via Brent council website; it runs from WG tube to Dollis Hill tube and in-between.

Dear Ms. Naden,

Thank you for your email of 24 August.

We have contacted the College’s property agents regarding your query, and they have advised us that within All Souls College's portfolio of residential and commercial ground rent properties there are two which are located within Willesden Green: 1) 277-279 High Road, Willesden and 2) Belton Hall, Bertie Road, Willesden.

The first property is let on a lease due to expire in March 2028 on which a ground rent of £30 per annum is payable. It has a ground floor retail unit with residential accommodation above which they believe is comprised of two maisonettes.

Belton Hall is let to the London Borough of Brent on a lease due to expire in March 2023, with no ground rent demanded. The property comprises a single storey brick building currently occupied by a nursery.
