Information regarding Housing Benefit claim numbers and amounts
Dear Barking and Dagenham Borough Council,
I would like to recieve the following information:
1. Number of active Housing Benefit Claims on the first Monday of
April each year for as far back as your records allow.
2. Number of active Housing Benefit Claims on the first Monday of
April each year where either (or both of) the Claimant or their
Partner is recorded as having had "Earned Income" on that date, for
as far back as your records allow.
3. The Total amount of Housing Benefit paid for the week starting
on the first Monday of April each year for as far back as your
records allow.
4. The Total amount of Housing Benefit paid for the week starting
on the first Monday of April each year where either (or both of)
the Claimant or their Partner is recorded as having had "Earned
Income" on the first Monday of April, for as far back as your
records allow.
I would like to make it clear that I would consider income from
Self Employment to be "Earned Income"
For your convenience, the dates of the first Monday of April for
the last 15 years are below:

3. The Total amount of Housing Benefit paid for the week starting on
the first Monday of April each year for as far back as your records allow.

4. The Total amount of Housing Benefit paid for the week starting on the

Thank you very much for your assistance with this. I have been asked by a number of other councils who are struggling with this request if I can point them at people who have successfully extracted the data for me, and who use the same software as them. Could you therefore let me know what software you use to assess your Benefit claims?
