Information on wooden tower adjacent to Villiers Street, in Victoria Embankment Gardens
Dear Westminster City Council,
I am seeking any information you hold on a pyramidal wooden tower in Victoria Embankment Gardens, adjacent to Villiers Street. It is behind a building that I believe is now the bandstand.
You can see it on Google Street View here: https://www.google.com/maps/@51.507631,-...
Any light you can shed on the purpose, name, or origin of this structure would be very appreciated!
Yours faithfully,
Jonty Wareing

Dear Westminster City Council,
That is wonderful, thank you for letting me know.
An additional request: Is anything known about the design or designer of the water feature? It has a strong resemblance to the York Buildings Water Tower that was located almost on the same site in the 1800's, and given it is a water feature this seems a remarkable coincidence.
You can see pictures of it here: https://www.ianvisits.co.uk/articles/wha...
Yours sincerely,
Jonty Wareing
