Information on the eligibility of the Price of Wales for a .gov.uk site

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Central Office of Information should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Central Office of Information,

I would like to find out why the Prince of Wales has been granted a .gov.uk domain ( www.princeofwales.gov.uk) when he does not seem to meet the criteria laid down by you at http://coi.gov.uk/guidance.php?page=193.

Could you supply me with details of his application to use a .gov.uk domain and the details of any review or assessment you made (or that you're aware that anyone made) as to his eligibility?

Yours faithfully,

malcolm coles
