Dear Mr Fairclough,

Thank you for your request for information of 5 February 2016 which has
been logged as 3784065 and has been dealt with under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.  We confirm that Cheshire West and Chester Council
does not hold information relating to your request and apologise for the
delay in responding.

For the purpose of clarity your request has been reproduced and answer
appended below:

Please provide Information on payments made by Chester Racecourse

Company (CRC) to the Council under the management agreement for the

     Roodee.

I wish to know the total amount paid to the Council by CRC and

total amount owed (e.g. payments in arrears) to the Council by CRC.

Response: The Council can confirm the management agreement held relates to
an agreement between legacy authority Chester City Council and Chester
Race Company, no agreement was in place between CWAC and Chester Race
Company. During the Chester City Council and Chester Race Company
agreement, CWAC received no payments (Apr 09 - Dec 10). The Management
terms have been under review since the previous management agreement
expired in 2010. The Council has been in negotiations with the Chester
Race Company to agree new terms of a Management agreement since the last
one expired in 2010 and a decision is likely to be reached shortly. The
Council is unable to say at this point in time whether there are any
monies owed for the intervening period until the new terms are agreed.

We trust this answers your enquiry.

The Council considers that your request has been answered in full by
either confirming that information is not held, providing you with the

·         A reason for the disclosures under the request being refused is
