Dear Mr McKay

I am writing with reference to your request for information for "Which
nursing homes in Scotland formerly owned by Southern Cross Healthcare have
been inspected since new owners took over their running."

Please find attached the requested information regarding inspections for
previous Southern Cross care homes for older people.  84% have had at
least one inspection since re-registering (80 out of 95)- all unannounced.
The individual services are also detailed in the attached table.

There are several inspections in progress for other services but there is
no inspection completion date as yet, therefore these have not been
included.
