Dear Mr Jenkins,

Please can we ask for some further information for the information
required;

·        How many landfill sites, old or new, were operating before 1994?

We would like to know if this question refers to all landfill sites in
North Yorkshire, both Council owned and Privately run sites which the
Council are aware of.

·        How many landfill sites in the council’s jurisdiction are no
longer operational?

We would like to know if this is just the landfill sites that the Council
own, or ones that the Council have liability for as well.

·        Are there any landfill sites that are currently at risk of
coastal erosion, or are actively leaching into the sea or rivers?

We would like to know if this question refers to all landfill sites in
North Yorkshire, both Council run and Privately run sites which the
Council are aware of.

Kind regards, Joanne

Dear Joanne Kearney,

The timescale for responding to the FOI I requested has now passed.

There was a clarification on your questions sent on 4th September which stated;
In answer to your questions, yes I am referring to all landfill sites the Council is aware of both Council owned and private.

Is it possible for you to give an update as to the progress of the request?

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Jenkins
