Information on International Citizenship service

Willard Foxton made this Freedom of Information request to Department for International Development

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Department for International Development.

Dear Department for International Development,

I am interested in statistics & figures for the International Citizen Service (ICS).

I would like to know;

*The complete taxpayer spend for the project.
*The number of volunteers who have travelled abroad on ICS.
*The breakdown of state school vs. private school among the volunteers.

I would also be interested in any correspondence between DfID & the NGOs running the International Citizen Service, particularly
related to any measure of the effectiveness of the service, targets
set by government, etc etc.

Yours faithfully,

Willard Foxton
