Information on Employment Tribunal claims against the London Borough of Croydon
Dear Croydon Borough Council,
Can you please disclose the following information. We expect yearly figures to be given for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
1. Please disclose the number of Disability Discrimination claims the London Borough of Croydon has received via the Employment Tribunal each year from January 2015 to January 2021.
2. Out of all the Disability Discrimination claims The London Borough of Croydon has faced between January 2015 to January 2021, how many of those were:
A) Won by the London Borough of Croydon each year
B) Withdrawn or struck out each year
C) Won by the Claimant each year
D) Settled each year
E) Are ongoing
3. In relation to money spent by London Borough of Croydon on defending Disability Discrimination claims brought between January 2015 to January 2021, we request information on:
A) The names of legal firms paid to defend claims on behalf of the London Borough of Croydon and the amount paid to each firm every year.
B) The total sum of compensation paid to Claimants each year whose Disability Discrimination claims were successful in Employment Tribunal.
C) The total sum paid to settle Claims each year.
