I am writing to request an internal review of Calderdale College's handling of my FOI request 'Information on Arts, Media and Design students'.

There is a single ground of complaint, so far:

Section 10 of the Freedom of Information Act, 2000 ("FOIA") requires a public authority (or College or University) to firstly acknowledge a request and then provide a substantive response PROMPTLY and, in any event, within 20 working days. It is surprising, to say the least, that a request, concisely expressed and requiring a bare minimum of information, has not been finalised.

Insofar as is relevant, mostly to readers and fellow users of the WhatDoTheyKnow FOIA platform, requests were made to seven other colleges and universities in the West Yorkshire area. All, except Calderdale College, acknowledged then responded well before the 20 working day deadline.
